SHIFTING & FLEETING
IMT’s strategic locations along the Illinois River and the Chicago Area Water System (CAWS) allows for access to destinations from Chicago to Channahon, IMT controls fleeting space for approximately 386 regulation barges.
LINEHAUL SERVICES
We provide Affreightment, Tramp Towing and Charter Services along the Illinois River and a 60 mile stretch downriver. We work with you to increase efficiency wherever possible, including down-river turns to get your fully built tows moving faster.
VESSEL MANAGEMENT
Illinois Marine Towing delivers well-trained and professional crews with the expertise to operate safely along the Illinois River. We can also offer maintenance services for managed vessels at our Lemont Shipyard.
